Velo-Muffs are ear muffs for your bicycle helmet. They add an insulating layer between your straps and ears to keep away the wind and cold. These were designed to add a layer of warmth so you can extend your riding season in comfort. Made from Polartec® Classic 300, Double Velour DWR heavyweight fleece that is super soft against the face. How it works - per the manufacturer, the lofted structure of this polyester fleece creates thermal air pockets to retain warmth and still allow optimal breathability. (Tech speak for it's fuzzy, soft, and warm.)
They quickly attach with hook and loop tape around the straps of your bike helmet. When not in use they fit neatly into a pocket or pouch.
These are NOT a universal fit - designed for adult helmets with a "V" configuration of the straps, see pictures for details. Each weighs in at .3 ounce. Black - available with or without Hi-viz tape added for visibility.
